How Can I Do Self Calibration in LabVIEW for Legacy Signal Generators (5401, 5411, 5431)?
I notice that the niFgen Self Cal.vi will do self calibration for all later NI Signal Generators (5421, 5422, etc). How can I do the same self calibration procedure for legacy signal generators (5401, 5411, 5431)?

Using the LVDS Output of Arbitrary Waveform Generator
The digital pattern generation is a digital representation of the waveforms generated on the analog connector of the device at the same rates as the analog signal. The arbitrary waveform generator is able to generate analog values through a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter.

Specific scripts cause incorrect behavior when using script triggers in NI-FGEN 2.4
The Script language introduced with niFgen 2.4 and used by the NI Signal Generator products is a very flexible technology. There are a few very specific scripts that do not work as they should. These scripts involve nesting a “repeat until scriptTriggerX” instruction in a “repeat Forever”

Usage of niFGen Commit.vi with the NI 5401/5404/5411/5431
vi with NI 5401/5404/5411/5431? Solution: The niFgen Commit.vi in LabVIEW is not supported by the NI 5401/5404/5411/5431 signal generators. This is because the NI 5401/5404/5411/5431 devices are based on the Traditional NI-DAQ architecture.
