Camera Attribute Example
The first example illustrates how to change the mode of a specific camera file to an asynchronous mode. The PCI-1424 does not require any special actions to enable asynchronous reset mode. This operation is camera dependent, but in most cases it can be set in LabVIEW programmatically using the IMAQ Set Camera Attribute.vi.
The attached example contains LabVIEW examples for configuring a COHU 4110 or Pulnix 1010 camera for Asynchronous Reset mode. These examples are derived from the LL Triggered Ring.vi example that ships with NI-IMAQ. Examples are included for both LabVIEW 6.0 and LabVIEW 7.0.
The second example changes camera attributes for a analog linescan camera file. This VI demonstrates how to programmatically set the External Line Sync properties and the External Clock properties for an analog line scan camera. Analog line scan cameras are supported for the PCI-1409 only under NI-IMAQ 2.5.1 and above. This example uses the IMAQ Set Camera Attribute.vi to set these properties and the IMAQ Get Camera Attribute.vi to read back the values set.
