This example writes TEDS data to a EEPROM connected to the Dallas Semiconductor DS9097U-S09 or the DS9097U-009 Universal 1-Wire COM Port Adapter. Select the type of sensor to be used and fill out the template. The data is then converted to fit the TEDS template. The data can be written to a EEPROM connected the serial adapter such as the DS2431 or DS2430A, written into a Virtual TEDS file, or written to an EEPROM connected to a DAQmx TEDS compatible device. This VI requires LabVIEW 8.0 or later and the TEDS Library.

Wrong EEPROM size for a DS2431
If you use this vi to serially program a DS2431 you need to modify the EEPROM size that get s generated from the family code from 32 bytes to the correct 1024 bytes. This can be found in the sub vi: Serial_TEDS_Hardware Read 64-bit ID Block.vi

incorrect read/write?
This appears to writes the complete Data Sheet to the Data Memory. Doesn't the 2004 version of the IEEE standard require that the Basic TEDS information be written to the Application Register? This would then place it in the one-time programmable register. Am I interpreting the IEEE format incorrectly?
