This VI demonstrates how to programmatically change the video modes of IEEE 1394 (Firewire) cameras using the NI-IMAQ for 1394 driver functions.
To change the video mode, you must programmatically adjust the Video Format, Video Mode, and Video Frame Rate. These values are in the IMAQ1394 GetVideoModes.vi. You can access the values by unbundling the the Video Modes Cluster output.
The Video Modes cluster included in the attached VI displays available modes for Cam0. Use the index of the Video Mode cluster to select the appropriate mode in the Desired Video Mode control. The Actual Video Mode control displays the current video mode.
