本專案欲開發的X光檢疫自動化系統,需能自動將待測物 (如進口之水果) 送入檢測室,並透過影像擷取裝置擷取影像後,立即判斷檢測物是否有害蟲蛀食、蟲卵寄生或受外力之機械損傷。因此,在系統開發上除了需要整合運動 (Motion) 與機器視覺 (Machine Vision) 硬體方面之外,同時亦需規劃完整的檢測項目,進行程式撰寫、執行大量運算,以符合速度及精確檢測之需求,使海關等檢測單位之檢疫任務得以順利達成。
