Using CompactRIO and LabVIEW to Build a Reactor Core Management Program Control Algorithm

  Print Print

"We used NI CompactRIO and the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module to reduce development time and complexity to create a reactor driver that meets our requirements."

- Chanatip Tippayakul, Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology

The Challenge:
Implementing a measurement system and control reactor to replace an existing set of applications, increase reactor stability, enable efficient reactor use, and reduce maintenance.

The Solution:
Using NI CompactRIO hardware and the LabVIEW Real-Time Module to develop a GUI and a data logging and reporting system for a reactor driver that improves the measurement and control systems in research reactors.
